BodybyFisher
Are you saying the fan isn't blowing? Check for codes and post them here Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
Cadillac 96 deville
There is nothing coming out of the vents inside the car. Just yesterday it was blowing hard and today I started it up and nothing came out no matter if I put the temp all the way hot or all the way cold no air came from the vents. Ill have to check the codes in the morning I don't have a scanner and the stores are closed right now.

Go to HOW TO then READING SELF DIAGNOSTIC CODES in my signature, and follow the directions. Do you hear a FAN RUNNING AT ALL? BodybyFisher
Usually you can hear it running. You dont have any ac actuator codes This could be a bad fan. Try all modes, defroster, rotate up to heat and then back down. You should hear the fan come on. The fan is a weak point, they are known to crap out. This is a pulsed width modulation fan, so you can not connect power directly to it and expect it to.run. Typically, the old style fan had a controller facing forward that became damaged when EMF from the ignition wires damaged components on it. If you don't hear it, check its connector, to make sure it wasn't dislodged, it is under the hood just to the right of the driver seat on the firewall.
