smitty58
Hello I'm Smitty from Seaside Ca. I own a 1992 Eldorado Touring 4.9L. I recently had to replace the #1 oxygen sensor. The manual called for a two wire sensor. So I took the oxygen sensor off and lo and behold it had four wires. The local auto parts called for a two wire also. The store clerk told me I could buy the two wire sensor and splice the wires onto the old four wire harness. I told him no thanks. I went into another parts store their computer called for the same thing. After further research, the oxygen sensor for my car was found on a 1994 Cadillac Eldorado. Food for thought.
