I ran a 4 gauge power lead all the way from the front of the car to the trunk for my 3 amplifiers.

I had to drill a hole through the passenger floor board to run my 4 gauge wire up through the engine to the battery. I couldn't find a place in the firewall that would give me access, let alone make my hands look like hamburger.

can you point me in the right direction to get through the firewall ?? thanks. I havnt looked at it closely I was just assuming it would be a pain to go all the way

Where is the amp. being located that you need to pass through the firewall??

Trunk mount is most common, and your power source is under the rear seat cushion. What am I not seeing here?

I want the amp in the trunk, I did not know of the power source under the rear seat, so I was planning on running power to the front of my car, could you elaborate on the power source under the trunk ? thanks

That would be the battery!!!!

Lift the rear seat cushion out of the car (seat belt connector on the RH side) and feast your eyes on the battery and a large fuse/relay box.

Have fun.....

um, just find a wire that is hot when the ignition is in the "on" position. (you can just splice into it, b/c the amp turn on lead uses like .2 amps!) or, you can get a hot out of the fuse box and use a switch (not really recommended)
