KleenTeam
Hi guys, I have been searching the internet for some hours now and am drawing a blank. If someone has a wiring diagram of the air suspension for a 2000 DTS I would be eternally grateful. At the moment I have to stand in the trunk and use a foot pump to get some pressure in there. Also if someone could point me in the direction of a workshop manual too. Thanks Ian
JimD
First step would be to pull the trouble codes from the OBD system and report them here. Can you hear the compressor running? KleenTeam
Hi Jim, The compressor isn't wired in at the moment as the old one stopped working and the mechanic doing the work didn't note the wiring. How do I get the codes from the vehicle? Thanks Ian
JimD
Unless your vehicle has been modified there would be a 4 pin connector for the compressor and no need to mess with the wiring. If the connector has been disturbed or modified, the original factory installation was wired as pin A = white wire (solid state ground connection for the exhaust solenoid controlled by the electronic suspension control module) B = green wire (compressor motor power from a relay in the rear fuse block, "ELC Relay") C = red wire from the same fuse block (exhaust solenoid power) D = black wire to ground The compressor and solenoid are protected by a 30A fuse in the rear fuse block, "ELC". The attached file will display codes for you. Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE !
