None Bose Deville Speakers

Recommended Posts

I have a 96 Deville without the Bose system. One of my front speakers is blown. It looks like there is a separate tweeter up high on the door panel. Does anyone know what I should replace the front speakers with. I heard that Infinity Kappa is a good speaker but was not sure if it come with a separate tweeter. Should I replace the tweeter also. Are there direct replacement speakers that bolt right in? Thanks, Mike

I had Infinity Kappas installed as replacements for the front paper cone speakers of my car. You can get component speakers which have the seperate tweeter from the mid range, but they are alot more expensive and I didn't find that they made too much of a difference in sound.

The Infinity's are great!! I am so glad that I purchased them. You will not go wrong with buying these. I have the kappa 5 1/4" 523i for the front and the 6 x 9 are the 9602. Kenwood deck, Rockford 900 watt amp and this thing kicks. I was going to put in a sub, but if you burn your music CDs properly, you don't need to get a sub. You can put as much bass in the CD as you want via the filters on the music software.
