stlthbmr
Hello ALL Members and a Happy New Year, I am asking for input concerning DTC code TC0063 on a 96 STS. Here is what I've found out so far: - It's a BPMV power supply malfunction. I have checked the 50amp maxi fuse, it's good and the EBTCM is getting power. I disconnected and cleaned both the plug and recepticle pins. All 4 wheel sensor plugs and recepticles have been cleaned, inspected, and securely plugged in. Brake fluid level is correct, no brake system leaks, pads new. In the DTC this is what I'm seeing: -TC Code 0063 Current TCS DATA: -While I'm driving data is being recieved from all wheels. -02 ECU ID A TC D06 -4502 ECU B TC D07 (I have read that this parameter value is correct) TCS INPUTS: -Lo BLS TC I01 (Brakes pressed, display changes to Hi) -Lo VLV RLY TC I02 -Lo MTR RLY TC I03 -Hi TCS OFF TC I03 (Press TRAC OFF in glove box display changes to Lo) I have read hundreds of dicussions on the TC/ABS topic, but have never really gleaned the info I'm looking for. Which is: 1) Is the EBTCM good or bad? 2) If it's good, can the valve relay be changed? 3) If the relay can be changed, where can it be purchased? I know there is a caddy tech out there somewhere who knows the answers to these questions. ANY help that can put me on the right track will be greatly appreciated! P.S. Hey Bruce, Thanks and keep up the good work.
