XLR

Today I was at the dealer asking about the CTS-V, and they mentioned that they had an XLR available. Since he knew I wasn't serious about it, they wouldn't let me drive it, but I was able to go for a ride in it.

And after the ride, I must say that the powertrain in that car is beautiful. That is the only way to describe it. You never feel it change gears, and it accelerates hard & smoothly. That transmission is the best one GM has ever done. I can't wait to try it out in the 2005 STS. All the power & push button features are cool, but how on earth can they still expect you to MANUALLY lower your sunshade. Puh-leeze.

The only real negatives are 1) will all those fany electronics last, and 2) for 75k, it could use at least another 100hp.
