JIMDTS Posted July 9, 2005 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 I have been monitoring the coolant level of the recovery tank and the coolant tank was funky. I was going to pull it and scrub it up but I passed on that and just sucked out the coolant with a shop vac and flushed it a few times and the serviced with dexcool. On the tank in my car it has a baffle inside it so to clean it up real good to get under the baffle would have been a hassle you would have to come in through the bottom of the tank..A great design to trap the funk but a job to clean..I was bored waiting on the wife to get ready so I killed a half hour while waiting Gotta pass the time somehow..
