canadian95sts Posted June 2, 2005 Report Share Posted June 2, 2005 installed an aftermarket stereo in a '95 STS using the proper aftermarket wiring harness, the one that by passes the box in the trunk, now when the car is running and the stereo is on, the speakers cut out, totally randomly, sometimes it stays on for ten mins, sometimes ten seconds, the stereo itself stays on the whole time, just the sound goes out, AND when the cars not running, the problem goes away and the sound will stay on for hours. going outta my mind any help would be greatly appreciated.
