tonysaphire Posted February 23, 2004 Report Share Posted February 23, 2004 I have a 91 seville, everytime I go to start the engine I get a starting disabled wait 3 minuets. stever Posted February 23, 2004 Report Share Posted February 23, 2004 i had this poblem 2 it could be the key or the pass key module the key beeing the cheap easy fix but if your luck is like mine its the module wich is costly so i put a resiter with the rite value of my key in the wire coming from the ignition problem solved this is described fully in the old archives Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
canadian95sts Posted February 29, 2004 Report Share Posted February 29, 2004 Try squirting a little wd40 on your key before placing it into the ignition. My bud had the same prob and that fixed it for a while. Tursn out the chip in the key was getting worn, so he started using his second set.
