bvaubel
Well the old gal is finally running. I gave up and had it towed to the dealer. He called the next day and said it needed a new PCM. Had to order it. Called the next day and said the pcm didn't fix it. Would get back at it tommorrow. Called the next day and said it was running. MAP sensor. $530.00. Talked to the service manager and told him my story. Said he would only charge me for the sensor. $104.00. How's that for a nice guy huh? Everyone seems to think it should run with a bad MAP sensor, using the history in the pcm memory. Anyone know why a bad map sensor would kill the engine? brian
