cadillacjeff7777
I am installing a temp guage for the tranny. Where would be a good and accurate place to install the temp guage? 2008 DTS
Pedro L. Rodriguez
I would suggest either on the line going into the radiatior/cooler or the line coming out of the radiator/cooler depending on which temp you'd like to monitor. This would not requiire any tampering with the tranny. I've done this before on the out line after my aux tranny cooler using a bronze T fitting and inserting the temp probe into the part of the T that is perpendicular to the flow. Ideally the temp probe would end right at the portion of the T where the fluid flows by.
