dally
If you lower the heat it will blow through the vents.
TDK
Sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean by vents? There are the vents by the windshield base used mostly for defrost/defog. There are the vents in the dash middle and sides where cool AC air usually comes out. There are bottom vents under the dash that usually provide heat. And then there are the rear vents which provide a mix of whatever. All these vents should be able to flow air, depending on heat/cold settings and the defrost/defog mode. If the vents are stuck in one position, then there may be a jammed or disconnected air-diversion door under the dash or a vac hose might be loose from its actuator. Add power to leave problems behind. Most braking is just - poor planning.
jhall
Seabass, Yeah, mine does this on both cars. I'm not sure why, but is seems to be some concept at not having cold / hot air blown in your face (with respect to the temp setting). I'd like to be able to change it so I can have some hot air at the dash vents on cold days when I can't get my hands warm.
