hatchman
guys, I have had the infamous "service ride control" message since I purchased my 95 STS a couple of years ago. I recently replaced the front brake pads with ceramic pads and when I was done, no more service ride control. Anybody else ever have this happen to them? Scotty
Typically the reverse happens, a person replaces their brakes either front or back and they GET a Service Ride Control message. You HAD the message and did your brakes and now the message is gone.... Unusual, did you connect any connectors that were loose? There is a connector at each wheel for the Ride Control, if you did not consciously reconnect the connector if I were you, I would go back and check the front wheels, there is a position sensor and a strut connector, check them both especially the strut connector. You can purchase electrical connector cleaner spray if you find corrosion spray the connectors up and then reconnect, Mike Early on sailors navigated by the stars at night and the North star became the symbol for finding ones way home. Once you know where the Northstar is you can point your ship in the right direction to get home. So the star became a symbol for finding ones way home or more symbolically even finding ones path in life.
