Secondary cam and shaft wear

Attached are pics of score marks on the secondary shaft and secondary cam gear from the N* I am repairing.

There is a definite score area that can be felt with my fingernail on the secondary shaft. See circled area on picture.

The secondary gear has slightly less scoring that looks like a ridege area. See circled area on the bearing in the cam.

When assembled, there is a definite "looseness" that can be felt by rocking the front of the gear on the shaft.

I have not put a micrometer on these yet. What's your opinion on replacement with regard to the marks??
