AM/FM CD Radio

Recommended Posts

If it's in the same model/series or whatever you call it (like the Sevilles and Eldos 92-95 are mostly the same, maybe Devilles 96-98??) I would think so, but you'd just have to check the bolt pattern/size for mounting and the plugs for a match. It would probably have to match the type of radio...if you have a Bose system then you'll need the same Bose/Delco Gold (or whatever it is) radio. Hope this gives you some help.

The company PAC has a unit that will interchange all headunits and still keep the controls. The product is the SW3. I have seen it used on many GM products including the Seville with the bose Gold. I have not seen the unit on the Deville but It is the same technology. Go to a local shop and they will be able to tell you more.. I have even seen this work with newer radio's that use a remote. Enjoy. Mike D

Cop didn't see it, I didn't do it!

Mike D, that is what I have recently heard, that you CAN keep the steering wheel controls, Mike

As a matter of fact here it is at Crutchfield!

Compatibility: The SWI-X interface allows you to retain the use of your steering wheel radio controls when replacing the factory head unit in select GMC, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, Cadillac, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Acura, Honda, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Range Rover, Saab, Volkswagen and Harley Davidson vehicles.
