Mark Grek
Changed out shift solenoids over the weekend, tired of driving around in second gear. Ordered kit from G.M. parts direct for $33.00, gasket and screen kit from pepboys for $28.00, and 2 -4 quart jugs of super tech dexron 3 from Wal-Mart for $8.50. Changed in my garage definately messy, but saved lots of money.

Man i had to cough up 70+...lucky bas...guy I tried several different places they were the cheapest. I think I paid about $7.00 for shipping. Still cheap. I guess they are probably selling a lot of them. After comparing the new ones to the old ones, looks like an engineering flaw. Happened right at 60,000 miles. Have only replaced stab links and front brake pads to this point. Now at the same time the fuel pressure regulator also leaking past diaphram.
