burntyres
I have a 2003 SLS 66k miles. It runs great. I have no other problem codes except IPC U1000. This is preventing me from getting the necessary Northern Indiana emission testing. What should I check or replace?

This is preventing me from getting the necessary Northern Indiana emission testing. What should I check or replace? Something is amiss in the Indiana bureaucracy; U codes have nothing to do with emission testing (at least according to the federal EPA). If the inspection station is reading codes from the OBD connector under the steering wheel, they are only looking for the presence of "readiness" flags and the absence of P codes related to emissions.
