Mako
Has anyone experienced this one? When radio (Bose) is turned on, a loud horn type noise comes from the front speakers. Volume knob does not control it. The radio must be turned off. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Mako
scott y
Your amp is done, the Bose speaker system has amplifiers built into each channel. The passenger front went on my 94 STS years ago,but a 97 STS donor from the boneyard solved that. You can also have them repaired from Bose but not inexpensively tho...do a search on Bose speakers,or boneyard. Mako
Thanks, for the information. I did change out the Radio/CD deck about 6 years ago when the CD was not working. Is the amp part of the deck or a separate component? Thanks
scott y
They would be inside your door for the front speakers(big black plastic box) and in the trunk for the rear speakers...
