Bob D
Tell you what, if you put used shocks/struts from your year ('93) or anywhere close, it's a certainty that they will also go bad. Finding any to fit your year that have any reasonable life left is highly improbable. Why not replace them with after market passive units? Quite a few of us here have done this by now with good results, including myself. There are two manufactures out there that we have used. One being Boston Suspension, the other Arnott Inc. I used the Arnott's shock/ strutt kit on my '93 STS and am very happy with the results, both in manufacturing quality, customer service and the resulting improvement in performance and ride comfort. '93 STS.. opened, dropped, wide...fast.

No codes, past or present. '93 STS.. opened, dropped, wide...fast.
