werner baker Posted September 5, 2010 Report Share Posted September 5, 2010 Hello all-if I posted this earlier I apologize-I need some advice-Here is the problem.I swapped my 2006 CTS radio and put in a 2007 Navigation Unit into the 2006 CTS-This was a GMC Nav unit from another vehicle-it was installed by sound on wheels-Cadillac then re-programmed the Unit to read the CTS 2006 VIN Number- Everything works except the unit only reads the Map as being in California and will not read anything else.I have purchased an updated DVD for the CTS-STILL THE SAME PROBLEM.I went on the Internet and found how the unit could be reset to factory Specs-still the same problem.Any ideas?
