hjb981 Posted August 20, 2010 Report Share Posted August 20, 2010 Or, if you don't want to do it yourself, it should be easy to get some quotes from other garages now that you now exactly what to ask them fore (those two injectors). Be sure to ask if they will install GM injectors or not. If you decide to do it yourself, remember that you will have to depressurize the fuel system first (lest you will be sprayed with gasoline). It is easy to do - just pull the fuse for the fuel pump, start the engine, engine stops by itself, turn off ignition, done. When you have changed the injectors, be sure to check for leaks. I would turn on the ignition without starting the engine. That pressurizes the system, and you can look for leaks and smell any gas that leaks. Then, check it again after driving a little.
