ricks95sts
I have 95 STS and would like to go to a passive system. Can anyone tell me the correct replacement strut and shock to use ( Monroe or Gabriel and their model numbers). Also will the 12 ohm 50 watt resistor work to bypass the computer for this model and year.

wake
I swapped the front struts in my last Caddy, a 94 earlier this year... Try Arnott Industries http://www.arnottindustries.com/ Thier struts are a drop in replacement, reasonably priced, and have the electronic simulator circuits built in... It plugs into the factory harness, and gave a nice firm but not stiff ride... I was quite happy with them... Check around in your area also... I was all prepared to do this myself until I found an independent tire store that swapped them out for $35/ea... With alignment I was out the door for less than $150 and didn't get dirty...
