GOOB Posted August 11, 2004 Report Share Posted August 11, 2004 I mistakenly left my extra remote in my pocket and it got washed. although it is nice and clean, it is not working. do i need to go through the procedure for setting it again or is it ruined? CadiKing Posted August 11, 2004 Report Share Posted August 11, 2004 GOOB, I had my remote for a Lincoln Town Car washed and then dried in a clothes dryer, and it works fine even now, three years later! Scotty Posted August 11, 2004 Report Share Posted August 11, 2004 Have you taken it apart totally and allowed it to dry? You can remove the rubber keypad, and circuit board.
