STS Scott
I picked up a 2004 Deville brochure at a dealer yesterday, as my Dad was working out a deal for his 2001 DTS. The photo on the cover of the brochure shows a close up shot of the snout of a DTS, only the grille is one I have never seen before. The most outstanding feature is the oversized Caddy sign, and then the grille itself is all chrome, with a more simplified "pattern" to it (less of an "egg crate" look). It looks very similar to the grille treatment on the "Platinum" edition of the Escalade, which leads me to believe there is a platinum edition of the DTS as well? The funny thing is, there is no mention of such a thing inside the brochure, or anymore photos of the car with that grille. If Cadillac has issued such a car, I am excited to see what wheels they will outfit it with, since the Platinum Escalade was given gorgeous 20 chrome wheels, relative to the boring 17's that come on standard ones. Has anyone with their ear to the rail heard of anything?
