dexec Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 Hi Everyone, I'm new to the Caddyinfo.com, so please bear with me if this message is in the wrong location. I just got my hands on a 98 Seville SLS with 137K miles. When I picked the car up it didn't start right up, but the car had been sitting for a couple of months. I ran the codes and it comes up with a PCM 153 code which is the Bank 2 Sensor 1 for the 02 Sensor. I called Cadillac to find out where the sensor is and was told it was on the right side of the engine bay. I had the sensor replaced and needless to say I'm having the same problem. The car doesn't start right up after sitting for more than 5 mins. And white smoke emits from the tailpipe. I'm still getting the same PCM 153 code, which makes me think I replaced the wrong sensor.
