beegolden
I have a 95 Cadillac Concours how do I know if a keyless remote can be reprogramed for my car? I have one that works for my car, do the numbers on back mean anything. I see many on ebay very cheap. Thank you
beegolden
To explain in a little more detail, I have the instructions to reprogram I just need to know how to tell if I get the correct remote? or does it matter?
Ben
They are not part number dependent. Any of the 94-95 remotes will work. I got mine brand new for about $25 or so.
mike5514
Remotes have 2 no. that are important the part no. Example gm------66 and the fcc no. example fcc ab1602t. The large numbers on the back are 1 and 2 (driver 1 and driver 2) they are interchangeable. All remotes have to be programmed at the same time. Im not home at the moment so these numbers may not be exact but they are for my 96/97 seville. There is also a canada: 9 diget no. again I may not be exact, dont know exactly what that no. means.
