Stan S
Lately I've been getting a "Service Stability System" message along with the traction control and ABS light. It's setting a C1225 code (LF excessive wheel speed variation). The service manual says to check the wheel speed sensor wiring connector, which I have done. Also the speed sensor resistance is within the specified range. That's about as far as I can go without specific tools. Looking for ideas! klitkongen
Hi I have the same problem with my 98 SLS, the codes C1223, C1227 (rear right sensor) I replaced it with a used part, but it still comes back now and then. What is the right resistance for the hub/sensor ? My friend (a mechanic) says check wires first that usually the problem, but I havent found any shorts or broken ones.
