miwettig
Can the shift points be raised on a 99' SLS? I'd like 1st, 2nd and 3rd to wind out a bit more without having the pedal to the floor. Plus I would like it to down shift from 4th to 3rd on the highway sooner without having to put the pedal to the floor.
Bob D
Not without reprograming the onboard computer, and that just isn't going to happen. You'd need to find someone (dealer?) with the very expensive system needed to get into the OBD II , and the motivation to do it...(even if it is possible). Good luck. Why not just shift it manually? I do it all the time with my STS, works great, and keeps my right hand happy... '93 STS.. opened, dropped, wide...fast.
bigfoo
Eheh.. I always shift manually, but the computer still shifts at a little over 6000 rpm ianyway. I wish it would shift more at like 7000 since i opened up the intake/exhaust :/
