torque converter to flywheel

Recommended Posts

when i took the motor out, the manual said to mark the flywheel in relationship to the torque converter... why is that? do the 3 bolts only line up with the holes on the TC at that position? they look like they'd line up in any place. thanks

i put the motor in today, and i'm starting to put the mounts on and bolt the engien back up the transaxle.... it won't be long now!!!

They say that because the flywheel and the converter are 'usually' balanced together and if you bolt it back up in another position it will be out of balance. So just mark it :)

White out works great for marking things

Not a problem.. Good luck putting it back together..... You are a brave man taking the engine out of a caddy :) Lots and lots and lots and LOTS of things to hook up hehehe.
