JimD
I've seen the pix of imported vehicle inventory accumulating at the Port of San Diego. Similar pix are probably available from ports on the Atlantic and Gulf coasts as well as the storage yards of the various "domestic" car makers. My eyes were opened today when I drove past a local 30+ acre auto auction facility that was closed and has been unoccupied for 3+ years. That 30+ acres of concrete is rapidly being populated with current year-model vehicles! And this location is hundreds of miles from any active domestic vehicle production facility or port of entry.
