JimD Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 Georgia has an early voting opportunity that I believe commenced on Oct. 2, this year. You simply show up at the county courthouse with the proper ID and cast your ballot. I did that 4 years ago and the line was about a 15 minute wait. The Sec'y of State's office reports that through Oct. 17, approximately 12% of registered voters have voted early so far this year. Some counties are reporting lines as long as two+ hours.
