timokon@yahoo.com
Hi: I am having a problem with my 92 DeVille. When starting, I have to turn the key several times to get it to turn over. The first few times, it behaves like a low / dead battery (all lights, radio, etc go out, but no starter movement), but after a few repeat turns of the key, it starts right up. Does this sound like an ignition switch problem ? Starter solenoid? Tim
CaddyChris
sounds like the starter, I had mine do this, sometimes it wouldnt start, than after a few tries it would, next thing you know, one day it wouldnt start for good. Put a new starter in, fired right up. THe brushes are prob going bad. I would replace the starter.
