Dirtybird_31
Recently, my check engine light came on. I have a 1992 Cadillac Eldo. The codes that I pulled were the following: E048 (Current), E098 (History), and R033 (History). The first two codes are supposed to be "EGR system error", and "High RPM P/N to D/R shift under ISC." What do these codes actually mean? I just had my throttle position sensor replaced, along with my throttle body cleaned. I HAD a problem with the engine not shifting gears til about 3500-4000 rpm. That's when i got the throttle body taken care of. Now I would like some advice about this new problem. All advice will be apprieciated. Thanks.... careldo
looks like your TPS might not be adjusted correctly.Get it corrected clear codes and drive it and see what codes come up if any.
