Ooooops!! Dropped a screwdriver down the chute

While replacing my water pump belt tonight (thanks to everyone on this board for all the great information!!!! Only took me 20 minutes!!), I had a small screwdriver placed in the pouch of my sweatshirt and it fell into this chute. Well at least I think it fell into this chute as I couldn't find it anywhere else. I don't know what this is, but it seems to be some sort of air intake of the something.

Does anyone know what this black plastic chute is for? It's on the driver's side near the headlights but before the frame.

The headlight wires are below the chute. You can see where it attaches to the side of the frame.

That is the opening for the air intake.

The air starts there and curves down to come back up under the air filter box. Its purpose is to get cooler air outside of the engine compartment and perhaps more important to impede water, from moderate flooding, from getting into the air stream.

The screwdriver can't hurt anything there.

Try fishing it out with a "magnet stick" from where you dropped it in. If that doesn't work, remove the air cleaner and fish in the box below it.
