When the sun is shining and the pavements are dry, I think maybe I could hack a RWD car again; but after plowing home ten miles from the barn (that's BARN as in horse barn - not BAR) through several inches of snow, I just can't imagine doing it. Perfect Pearl just rolled along through several inches of snow without a slip or a slide. I saw four vehicles off the road, going and coming, and they were all RWD pick-ups. (I know, I know, pick-ups aren't good in snow; but the fact remains they were all RWD>) Of course I can always go with the 4WD on the new STS but I'll probably have to pick up a LOT more bottles along the road or sell a horse or two or something to pay for it.
