Uffe6y Posted April 7, 2004 Report Share Posted April 7, 2004 I have an sts-92 and it has parkinglights in the frontfender,,but how do you activate them?...or are there just there for the looks...??...is it possible to rewire themf rom the parkinglight who is in the headlamps? lacseville Posted April 8, 2004 Report Share Posted April 8, 2004 your bulbs are probably burned out. they are real cheap at any auto store. i don't know for sure if they are supposed to come on, but i'm thinking yes. do some troubleshooting. get a meter and check for 12v and then work back from there until you get 12 and figure out why it's not getting to the lights. let us know Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bob*97 SLS Posted April 8, 2004 Report Share Posted April 8, 2004 The area you've circled (clear lense) looks like you may be talking about the cornering lamp. Turn the left turn signal on and see if it lights. I think your car has the cornering lamps. The orange area should be a parking light I think. tkjr Posted April 8, 2004 Report Share Posted April 8, 2004 It does look like the cornering lights you have circled and if you wire them to stay on when your lights are on oncoming traffic will not like you very much.
