gabyllac Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 okay i have a 1999 cadillac deville and i was at a wendy drive-tru i turn off my engine cuz they were a lil slow and when i got my food i turn on my engine and my engine light came on and the code is P1350 - Ignition Control System were do i start looking to fix the problem i cleared it and idle it then i turn off the engine then turn it on again and it comes up again uhm help i hait the engine light on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JimD Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 Any recent repair or maintanence work done on the engine? Collision damage repairs? There are 4 low-voltage or signal level connectors on the ignition control module. I would disconnect and reconnect each of these connectors several times as a first step. Also inspect the associated wires and the connectors for obvious damage. Clear the code and test drive. Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE !
