chrisfoot Posted September 22, 2006 Report Share Posted September 22, 2006 Just bought a 2002 Seville. First Cadillac. Great car. Everything works - except the auto release of the parking bake. When I shift it into park, I see the release activate and hear a clunk. But the pedal doesn't pop up. If I push down on the pedal, it will then pop up. From reading the owner's guide, it seems that the pedal should pop up automtically.... Is this correct? Any ideas how I can fix it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JimD Posted September 22, 2006 Report Share Posted September 22, 2006 Remove the kick panel and inspect for damage and binding. Something is out of place or damaged.
