stefank Posted September 17, 2006 Report Share Posted September 17, 2006 Jim, when this happened on my car, the oil level sensor was defective. Heard from others also that it happened to them. The sensor is located in the oil pan, towards the front of the car. You have to drain the sump before you remove the sensor.
