lowsixfo64
After contacting GM, the ticking rapping noise coming from my transmission was a faulty oil pump. Supposedly there is 3 of them all together. The noise was only when the car was warm. A dealer did the repair for me but im pretty sure you can just remove the pan and do it. Hope this helps if anyone needs to know.

Droger03 had a whine and figured out it was his pump and he replaced it himself here are two interesting threads regarding the tranny pump http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=4343&hl= http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=4433&hl= Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
