I don't think that there are any torn pages, but I have not looked at every page. The front and rear covers show a little wear, but they are still frimly attached and are in good overall condition. Since they are books, they qualify for USPS "Media Mail" rate (formerly known as "Book Rate") which will be at/under $5 for the set. Consider it.
