sfyr
My 98 SLS was hesitant to want to start up on a cold Seattle morning today (25 degrees and solid frost) and the SES light appeared. I have had some battery issues over the summer and often I check seems to be at less and less voltage prior to startup. I'm fairly certain this is not an alternator issue, fortunately. So my questions are: where do you shop for your Caddy batteries and do you self install or should I not bother the "menfolk" and take it to our trusted mechanic to put in? JimD
You don't have many options for a properly vented battery inside your car. A Cadillac dealer will have the correct ACDelco part and anyone can install it in 15 minutes. Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE ! Lift the back seat for a clean place to change out the battery. my .
