mattd
Hey all !!! It was about 2 years ago when I lost my baby, a 94 STS to an unfortunate accident. Since then I had a 97 Aurora but it just wasn't the same. Now I got myself a 95 Pearl white STS with about 78K on it or 48 miles. The car is amazing a one owner since original, dealer service and I can't stop smiling The only thing wrong is the passenger seat heater isn't working. From reading some posts it sounds like more often then not it's something called an element I was just wondering as to what that is and if this is something that I can do myself or is it a strickly dealer thing, and how much is it gonna run me to fix it. Thanx in advance for info
canadian95sts
The heated seats should have a small relay under the seat itself, If your drivers side heat is working, I would first try swapping the relay from the drivers side over to the passanger side and see if it works, hopefully its that simple. canadian95sts
Check out this link, it might help out a bit more, in testing the heat element, if the relay doesnt work out. Ranger
This should give you an idea of what is involved in R & R of the element. http://turbojimmy.4t.com/DTS/heatedseats.html
