adallak
Nine codes may indicate some electrical problem, a bad contact somewhere. Check the battery cables, grounds, etc., clear the codes and see if they return. A history code is set when it appered some time ago and was not set during the current ignition cycle. If it does not come back in 50 cycles it will be wiped out automatically. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent
canadian95sts
If you have disconnected the battery, or recently lost power you will get a lot of history codes regarding the "keep alive memory". Basically saying your car lost its electrical power for a short time. matt A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...BUT, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "darn...that was fun!" www.madd.ca
Regis
cadillac_caddy_sts, What are the codes? Post them so we don't have to guess what might have happened. And what code is the TC/ABS throwing? Is the ABS light on? Is there a message across the DIC that says "Traction Control Dissabled"? If the TC/ABS light is on then it could be one of two things: 1. the sensor plug/clip isn't seated all the way. Check them to make sure. 2. The ABS fuse in the trunk fuse box is blown and needs replacing. Get back to us with the codes at least so we'll know for sure. cadillac_caddy_sts
My battery did die about once a week and I have replaced it so I will clear them and see if they come back but im guessing that was what made them all pop up. Tommorow I will take a pen and paper and write them down to see what they mean. Defending Northstar perf a qtr mile at a time!!!!
