CaddyChris
On my way to work this morning the tempurature was below freezing (approx 28 F). I immediately noticed how nice she was running. I couldn't help doing WOT all over the place! This car was feeling so peppy this morning it was great! It was definately a noticible difference. I know this has been discussed before but now I'm starting to understand why a cold air intake is better and why modifying the northstar airbox to a cone filter is not good. The sts was sucking in that 30 degree air from underneath and loving it! It was nice.... Chris Christopher Petro 94 sts 67 coupe de Ville
BodybyFisher
I agree 100% Chris, I posted my cold air experience recently. It really makes a difference thanks for confirming my feeling. This cold air feeling is also why I laugh when someone wants to suck hot under hood air.. BodybyFisher
Sorry I missed the thread or I wouldve posted there....I definately agree about sucking in hot air...haha. Na, that's ok, I kind of squeezed it into a different thread. This is a good place to reseach this issue. I am really curious if other members feel that shot of power we are experiencing from the cold weather. tjtjwdad
I've never tried a cold air intake for the Caddy because I have to contend with wet weather. But in my Trans Am it is quite noticible when the hood scoop door opens up on a cold day. Jim
Webmast84
Some time during the season I'm going to take a road trip up north from southern Florida to try out the cold air.
