canadian95sts
Dont know if im the only one experiencing this, but after I log onto the site here, when i click on a topic, a pop up window opens and asks me for my username and password, and domain for the site? Is anyone else getting this, I've never had this happen on the board before? MAC
I've had that happen. Is it related to cookies being blocked? If the logon is done while in a post it will happen. If the logon is done from the main discussion page then the post is entered I don't believe it will happen. I have also experienced the same thing at Lincoln v. Cadillac site. caddypete
Yep had the same problem, I just searched for Caddy info and clicked on the link to get here and then deleted my old saved favorites link and put the new one on my favorites list. but what is irratating is my original link took me to a page where I could access the other caddy board that breaks it down into years, engines and model now for the life of me I cannot remember the site name to search for it

BodybyFisher
This is related to BobD's photo server, you will notice that if you go to a page that has Bob's photos on it, you will get that log in. This happens once in a while, maybe the server is down? Bob? Marika
I had reported this problem a while back and it was kinda dismissed as temporary insanity on my part. I see it every so often too. Just got it again now. I just close it. It could also be someone sniffing the ports on the server and trying to steal passwords, so whatever you do, DO NOT put your user name and password into the popup box. If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.
Ranger
OOPS. I just got it too and after clearing it a few times it kept coming back so I put my name and password in thinking it was something new here. What good would stealing a password do when you can create your own. Kinda like the government stealing momey.
rgnoon
It actually appears to be originating from the DNS server that Caddyinfo's records are listed on...i've been getting it from the home page and at that point it looks like it's coming from the name servers....perhaps bruce could get ahold of his hosting provider and see if they know anything about it. ted tcb
Like Ranger, I get it beginning with the home page. I doubt its spyware, because it pops up both on my home pc as well as my office pc. It started on Nov.20th for me. 1989 FWD Fleetwood, Silver 1995 STS Crimson Pearl on Black leather 1997 STS Diamond White 1999 STS Crimson Pearl 2001 STS Silver 2003 STS, Crimson Pearl

Your car photo is a link to a server? Mike Jeez Mike, I was just gonna ask how did you arrive at that conclusion??!!! rgnoon
I think that may just be a coincidence Scotty...I get login requests before even entering the forums...which leads me to believe that It wouldn't just be coming from BobD's photo server. I'm still going to point at the DNS server as if I am unable to authenticate when prompted at Caddyinfo.com (the home page) the domain is not resolved and I am unable to reach the site at all...the only way i've been able to get through is by using a bookmarked link to a thread on the forum itself... on second thought...seing as how the forums are being hosted at ipbhost...on a seperate domain, maybe it's not the DNS...unless the dns records for both domains are on the same name server. Just thinking outloud here. EDIT: I take all this back....now the domain name is actually resolving and I'm getting errors from IIS....leave it to microsoft. Scotty
Jeez Mike, I was just gonna ask how did you arrive at that conclusion??!!! Bruce posted both my pics, and my registry has no reference to "server1.dns-info.com" There is the answer..... Bruce posted both your photos, its got something to do with those photos and the link to that server. I am sure that Bruce will solve it. Notice your pictures are not showing? As a matter of fact the main server is down (how to, etc), that is where your pictures are Bob... Maybe Bruce linked to the Members Photos section for your photos. That is why you get the error message here > http://www.caddyinfo.com/ Now I understand why members are getting error messages in two different locations, http://www.caddyinfo.com/ is down and that is where your photos are Bob... makes sense now. Bruce Nunnally
Ok, it looks like the caddyinfo.com homepage, which has been kindly hosted by Randy Weaver on onedgesolutions.com is not available. I emailed Randy to see if it is coming back, and he is working the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience. As you can tell, the message board here is hosted by Invision, so not effected.
