Need info on how to change head gaskets/time-serts

Hey. Im not sure yet if this is my problem, but I would just like to get the info to do this if it comes down to it.

if anyone has the shop manual, i could use copies of the pages covering the headgasket and time-serting. i do not yet know if i need to do this, i'd just like to have the info if it comes down to it. I have month to work in december, i have a feeling i may need that whole month. I am looking at purchasing the 3000+ page shop manual maybe for christmas, but I have $0 to my name at the moment...

Click SEARCH,

In Keywords type: Timesert

In Search posts from... click the down arrow and choose ANY DATE

Click Perform Search

You will find all the information you could ever need about TIMESERT, including procedures, tips and techniques provided by many who have done this job.

Pay attention to Mark99STS, Arash, Barry94, AliRaza, JIMDTS, jhall, Jan Olsson to name a few..

Can you give any symptoms that lead to the conclusion that the problem might be the head gasket(s)? You may have another problem that is less costly.
