jhall
Hi all, Trying to see if I can post a pic of a very large Cadillac sign that is in the interstate on the way from the airport to Shanghai. China needs caddys in a bad way - sort of. The operating condition of most cars are very poor and the pollution levels are incredibly bad. I travelled from Suzhou (about 2 hours outside Shanghai) back to Shanghai and my tongue was BLACK by the time I got to the hotel - I'm talking really bad pollution and dust. Lots of brushing in order so I could taste dinner - yetch! Didn't see any caddys on the road this time. They're still pretty much out of reach of the local people. Other vehicles in use here are real junk and getting into a taxi requires you to take your life into your hands. Headed to Japan for a couple of days. Really burned out. Looking forward to being state-side again for Thanksgiving. Every time I visit developing countries I count my blessings on the good fortune of being an American. God Bless America.
