Kazzman17
I bought my wife an XM radio for her 95 ETC, we live in the Wahington DC area and have quite a few FM stations which interfere with the XM radio broadcasting through its FM modulator. I had the same problem in my truck and installed a FM direct Adaptor which installs between the cars antenna and radio, works great CD quality sound. I purchase on for my wifes Eldo and when I pulled the sterio out there wasn't a connection for the antenna. I assume it is plugged into the wiring harness. Does anybody know were this connection might be. My wife user the car for work and has the trunk packed to to bottom with her supplies and haven't had time to empty it out to trace the anntenna lead. I'm hoping for some good weather this weekend to try it again.
Cadillac Eldorado
For the 95 Eldog the antenna is in your truck on the right handside, were your antenna is located at. If you pull back the carpet you should see it.
Bill K
I have the XM (Delphi) in in the Mountaineer. This summer we took a trip through & around the DC area. I use the modulation as opposed to direct connect. Since I was not sure if I could get good modulation in that area I put a switch on the power antenna so I could turn on the radio and keep the antenna down. I had great reception the whole trip. Just a thought....
